Middleburg Roof Care, From a Loose Shingle to a Full New Roof

We repair, inspect and replace roofs for homeowners in Middleburg, Fleming Island and Orange Park. Most of our work is upkeep: resealing flashing, swapping cracked pipe boots, clearing gutters and fixing storm damage before it spreads. When a roof is truly worn out, we put on a new shingle or metal roof and show you how to care for it.

About Roofing Middleburg

Roofing Middleburg looks after the roofs over local families' heads, here and in the surrounding communities. Day to day, that means repairs, checkups, gutter work and, when an old roof has nothing left to give, a new one.

Our view is simple. A roof is one of the costliest parts of your home, so it should last as long as it can. A cracked pipe boot or a lifted shingle is cheap to fix. Left alone through a summer of afternoon storms, it can turn into wet decking, stained ceilings and a much bigger bill. We'd rather catch it early.

Roof Work We Do

We handle roof repair, roof inspections, storm damage repair, gutters, metal roofing and full roof replacement. Most roofs we see don't need to come off. They need a few worn parts fixed so the rest can keep doing its job. We're a licensed general contractor and PGT certified, and the work we do on your home is backed by our 5-year workmanship warranty.

What Changes the Price of Roof Work

Every roof prices out a little differently. What sets the number is what sits on top and what's hiding underneath. These are the things that move it most.

Your estimate is free and has no obligation. We write it out line by line after we've been on your roof, so you see what each part costs before you decide.

Size and pitch
A bigger roof takes more material and more hours. A steep roof needs extra safety gear and slower work, which adds labor.
What's under the shingles
Soft or rotted decking has to be replaced before new shingles go down. Often the bad wood stays hidden until tear-off day. That's why your estimate spells out the price per sheet ahead of time, so a surprise board doesn't mean a surprise bill.
Material you choose
Asphalt shingles and metal panels cost different amounts and last different lengths of time. We'll walk you through both on your own roof so you can weigh price today against years of service.
Layers and tear-off
If there are two old layers of shingles, both come off. More layers mean more labor and more disposal.
Permits and code
A new roof in Florida needs a permit and has to meet state building code for nailing, underlayment and edge metal. Those requirements are part of the cost, and they're also what keeps the roof on in high wind.
Flashing, vents and gutters
Worn flashing, old roof vents and sagging gutters are often fixed during the same job. Doing them together usually costs less than coming back later.

Towns We Cover

Our crews head out from Middleburg and spend most days on roofs in the towns around it: Lakeside, Oakleaf Plantation, Asbury Lake, Fleming Island, Bellair-Meadowbrook Terrace, Green Cove Springs and Orange Park. We also make the drive to Fruit Cove and Starke.

Why Homeowners Call Us

A roof lasts longest when someone keeps an eye on it. That's how we like to work: small fixes on time, big jobs only when they make sense.

Repair first, when repair will hold

We tell you if a fix will buy you real years or just a few months. If a new roof is the better money, we say so and show you why with photos. If it isn't, we fix what's broken and leave the rest alone.

Credentials that match the job

We're a licensed general contractor, and we're PGT certified. We pull the permits the job calls for and build to the code inspectors check.

Five years on our workmanship

Our work comes with a 5-year workmanship warranty. It covers the way our crew put things together. Should a problem trace back to our installation during that time, we'll be back on your roof to sort it out.

Help with your adjuster

After a storm, we work directly with your insurance adjuster on the damage claim. We share our photos and notes from your roof so nothing gets missed. What gets covered is still their call.

Financing available

Financing is available if a bigger repair or a new roof doesn't fit this month's budget. Ask about it when you book your visit.

How a Job Runs

Every job starts with a look at your roof, not a sales talk. Here's what happens after you call.

  1. 1

You call and book a visit

Let us know what's going on. Maybe there's a drip by the hall light, or granules piling up below the downspouts. We pick a day and time that works for you and send a technician.

  2. 2

    We inspect and take photos

We check shingles, flashing, vents, pipe boots, gutters and the attic if we can get in. Anything wrong gets photographed, and we show you the pictures right there.

  3. 3

    Estimate in writing

Next we put it all on paper. We explain what needs fixing now, what can wait and what each part costs. If repair will hold, that's what we quote.

  4. 4

We do the work and clean up

We cover plants and protect your driveway before work starts. At the end of the day we pick up debris and run a magnet over the yard for loose nails.

  5. 5

We go over it with you

When we finish, we walk you through what we did and what to watch for. Simple things, like keeping gutters clear, add years to a roof.

Questions We Hear Most

Something not covered here? (904) 849-9795

How do I know if my roof needs a repair or a new roof?

It depends on how much of the roof is worn, not just where the leak is. If the shingles are mostly sound and the trouble is in one area, like flashing around a chimney, a repair usually makes sense. If shingles are brittle, curling or losing granules all over, patching just moves the leak. We'll show you photos and give you a straight answer.

Is your estimate really free?

Yes. The estimate is free and there's no obligation. A technician comes out, looks at your roof and puts the numbers in writing. You decide what to do from there.

Will you help with my insurance claim after a storm?

We will. The inspection we do after a storm costs you nothing, and we work directly with your adjuster on the claim. We photograph the damage and can be on site when the adjuster visits. The insurer decides coverage, but they'll have a clear record of what's on your roof.

What warranty do you offer?

All new roof installations come with a no-leak guarantee. If you have a question about what that covers, ask us before the job starts and we'll go over it with you.

How often should I have my roof checked?

Once a year is a good habit, plus a look after any big storm. Heat, humidity and summer storms are hard on sealants and flashing. A yearly check catches small problems while they're still small and cheap.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, financing is available. It can help when a larger repair or a new roof comes up at a bad time. Ask about it when you book your visit.

Do I need a permit for a new roof?

In Florida, a new roof needs a permit, and some larger repairs do too. We pull the permit and schedule the inspection. You don't have to deal with the paperwork.
